Flexible Formed Table Mirror
One form is casted onto an inclined surface to create the usable part of the mirror.
I have designed a process in which I do not have complete control, to allow for unexpected results to happen. By embracing unpredictability, I achieve results that I could never have imagined myself. For these designs, I stretch flexible latex sheets over a frame and then pour plaster into them to create organic shapes. By playing with different elements such as the shape of the frame and making interventions, I continuously get new and surprising results.
